What software affiliate programs are
Computer software affiliate programs let you earn a commission when someone buys a software product through your link. This guide lists software and SaaS companies that run their own programs. Each entry gives only what that program's own page states. Read the terms side by side and shortlist the ones that fit your audience.
How these programs differ from each other
Several programs below pay on subscriptions. Several pay a share of what the customer pays each month for a set period. Some programs count a referral for months after a click. Others stop after weeks. Each program sets its own rules on who can join and how you may promote it. Read each page before you sign up.
The programs and their stated terms
Descript
Descript's affiliate page says affiliates earn a $25 commission for each new Descript subscriber they refer. Payments go to your PayPal every month. Signing up is free and no minimum sales are required. The program is migrating to PartnerStack and current affiliates must reapply.
Elementor
Elementor's affiliate page says it pays 45% to 55% commission on first purchases of Elementor One, Editor Pro or Elementor Host. It uses a 45 day cookie policy. It pays affiliates once their commission reaches a minimum of $200. It pays by PayPal or another agreed method. Payment comes within 30 days after the purchase clears.
ElevenLabs
ElevenLabs' affiliate page lists up to 22% commission on every paying customer an affiliate brings in. Affiliates earn 22% of all payments from a new paid subscriber for the first 12 months. Affiliates can promote ElevenCreative, ElevenAgents or ElevenAPI. They get a dashboard with support from ElevenLabs and PartnerStack.
Grammarly
Grammarly's operating agreement covers affiliate offers on Has Offers, Commission Junction, Partner Stack and Share-A-Sale. Consumer affiliates can earn commission on an Account Sign-Up or a Purchase. The Grammarly Business program pays for self-serve customers with up to 149 seats.
HubSpot
HubSpot's affiliate page says it welcomes software reviewers, content creators, online educators and business solutions that integrate with HubSpot. It pays 30% monthly recurring commission for up to one year. Its referral cookie window is 180 days. The program pays by direct deposit or PayPal and needs a minimum balance of $10 USD before withdrawals. HubSpot reviews applications and contacts applicants within 2-3 business days.
Jasper
Jasper runs the Jasper Solutions Partner Program. Its partner page says the program offers incentives, training, co-marketing and joint GTM support. It lists partner training and certification and referring clients to Jasper as requirements.
Notion
Notion's affiliate page says the program is currently not accepting new affiliates. Its page lists commissions of up to $50 per activated sign up plus 20% of year one revenue per referral. A new workspace must upgrade to a paid Plus or Business plan within 180 days of the click. Affiliates track their links and rewards through PartnerStack. Self-referrals are not allowed and posts must show the paid relationship with Notion.
Semrush
Semrush's affiliate page lists up to $450 per sale and $10 for each trial activation, depending on the product and partner tier. The program uses last-click attribution and a 120-day cookie. It is hosted on Impact and pays by Electronic Funds Transfer or PayPal. A content creator's website should have at least 1,000 unique visitors in monthly traffic.
Shopify
Shopify's affiliate page says the program is open to anyone with an audience of merchants, but not every application is approved. It lists up to $150 USD per qualified referral. It tracks referrals for 30 days after a click, and up to 400 days for free trial stores. The program requires a minimum balance of $10 USD before affiliates can make withdrawals. Shopify adds commissions to your balance once a month, on the 22nd. The affiliate dashboard is powered by Impact.
Squarespace
Squarespace's affiliate page says it accepts websites that are relevant to its products and free of objectionable material. It pays for each website or commerce subscription from a first-time Squarespace customer. It places no caps on how many referrals partners can make in a year. It accepts affiliates worldwide where Impact supports their country, and pays in U.S. dollars. Affiliates apply once and list all of their websites on that application.
Webflow
Webflow's affiliate page says affiliates earn a 50% commission on a new customer's first subscription for up to 12 months. Its referral cookie window is 90 days. Affiliates must be content creators, influencers or bloggers, and agencies apply to a Partner Program. Affiliates must register with PartnerStack.com to receive commission payouts. Webflow does not accept coupon or deal sites or subaffiliate networks.
Wix
Wix's affiliate page says affiliates get paid when a new user joins through their link and becomes a Premium subscriber. Affiliates can track success and receive payments on its dedicated affiliate platform. They can advertise their link however they want, on socials, their own sites or ads. Wix offers recurring payouts month after month.
Programs with special status
Two programs stand apart right now. Notion's page says the program is currently not accepting new affiliates, so you cannot join today. Descript's page says the program is migrating to PartnerStack and current affiliates must reapply. If you are already in the Descript program, Descript's page says you must reapply.
Common restrictions
Several programs ban the same kinds of promotion. Shopify's affiliate terms say affiliates may not promote Shopify on coupon, deal, or discount sites. Webflow does not accept coupon or deal sites or subaffiliate networks. Grammarly's operating agreement bans bidding on keywords that include its trademarks on pay-per-click search engines. Shopify's terms say the same about pay-per-click keywords that use Shopify trademarks. Grammarly bans coupon codes it did not provide. Semrush says self-referrals and commission sharing are strictly prohibited. Notion says self-referrals are not allowed. Shopify says a store the affiliate owns cannot count as a referred merchant for pay.
Where these programs run
These programs sit on several networks. Semrush is hosted on Impact. Shopify's dashboard is powered by Impact. Squarespace accepts affiliates where Impact supports their country. Descript is migrating to PartnerStack. Notion's affiliates track links and rewards through PartnerStack. Webflow's affiliates must register with PartnerStack.com to receive payouts. ElevenLabs names PartnerStack in its dashboard support. Grammarly's operating agreement covers offers on Has Offers, Commission Junction, Partner Stack and Share-A-Sale. How to choose a program for your audience
Match the product to what your readers already want. If you write about website building, look at Elementor, Shopify, Squarespace, Webflow or Wix. HubSpot's affiliate page says it welcomes software reviewers and content creators, among others. Then read each program's own page for its commission, its cookie window and its payout terms. Check the date you read them, because terms change.
Next steps
Pick two or three programs that fit your audience and read their pages in full. Follow each program's disclosure rule. Shopify's terms say affiliates must clearly disclose that they are paid for referring merchants. Notion says posts must show the paid relationship.
