What the Kit Affiliate Program is
Kit runs the Kit Affiliate Program. You refer new customers to Kit, and Kit pays you for them. Kit's own affiliate page sets the commission, the status tiers, and which referrals count.
Commission structure: what Kit's affiliate page states
Kit's affiliate page says it pays 50% for the first 12 months of every referred customer. That is the whole commission line. Kit's affiliate page ties recurring revenue to Bronze status, covered in the next section.
Status tiers explained (10, 50 and 100 paying customers per year)
Kit's affiliate page sets its status tiers at 10, 50 and 100 paying customers referred per year. The tiers are counted in paying customers, not clicks or signups.
The page also says affiliates who refer at least 10 customers per year earn recurring revenue while they keep Bronze status. So the first tier carries a stated benefit. Read the higher tiers' benefits on Kit's page before you count on them.
Which referrals count toward status levels
Not every referral counts. Kit's affiliate page says referrals made with paid methods such as pay-per-click ads do not count toward status levels.
So customers you win with paid ads will not move you up a tier, as Kit's page states it. Kit's page is the place to check the full list of what counts and what does not.
